What clutch to get?

My throw-out bearing seems to be going out and I want to replace the clutch with it also. I have about 125k miles and mostly use the car for daily driving (sit in traffic 30-40mins 2x a day). I don’t plan on building high hp. I’ve been seeing a lot of people running King Cobra kits so thinking of going for that. What would you guys recommend over stock?

Over stock - KC is your best bet.

depending on what tranny you have I would say get the king cobra. very afordable and not that much change in the pedal from what I hear. Its does not fit on the mid 01 and up though(which have the 3650 tranny). If you have an early 01 it would work.

I have the 3650 tranny...i remb having problems with my shifter-had to order another one...

what other clutches would you recommend?

Just put a Spec stage 3 kit in mine and love it but you might not need one that heavy if your not modding any. But if you get a Spec it is going to be a lot more touchy and quicker engaging than your stock clutch.

I vote for a Centerforce dual friction clutch. Thats what will be going into my dad's Bullitt in a few months. Everyone I know who has that clutch is quite satisfied with it.
