Hey Guys.
Well, have the SSBC front disc setup on my '66 Mustang and picked up a set of 17x7 w/4" backspacing tt2s for the front, and 17x8 with 4 3/4" bs for the rears. With all new suspension, shelby mod and 620s, I'm planning having the fronts just tuck.
But I want a slight rake, and want the car to sit low. Is anyone running 40series tires all around? (besides dodgestang ). I want to run the 255/40/17 on the back (~25"diameter) and run a 215/40/17 in the front. But at 23.8" diameter, Im worried that it will be too much of a rake, and worried the the 40series rubber might be too skinny, and not fill in any fender gap without the car being way way too low. The next step up is 215/45/17 and its ~24.6" in diameter. Thinking its too close to the rears to not give any rake at all.
Anybody running these sizes? Have pics?
Thanks
Nate
