Sorry... that's what popped in my head when I saw the thread above.
I'm just a regular guy... design engineer for 20 years now. I put in my 40 hours per week and play on weekends. That's just the job that pays me.... my REAL job is taking care of my wife and two kids. No clue on how many hours that is.
Oh yeah... another job I have is assistant coach of the Green Bay Packers. I'm sure I'm one of only a few million that hold that title!!

lolol nah but i do get tickets to other events and some other places like
hawaii and cozumel...others are for games and such Bskt.Ball/FT.Ball games

Applications Lab Coordinator for ITS a division of Johnson & Johnson, basically, I test/troubleshoot software before it can be used at J&J 40hrs a week been here for 3yrs
cnc machinist here, one of the rare cnc jobs where i can program, setup, and run the machines (most places have programmers up front, a setup guy, and a machine op). 40hours regular + about 10-12 overtime a week. been working there for just about 2 years now.

Yeah Chuckman you go buddy !........... I did that for 5 years 2 of which I surface ground. I had to use "G" codes though that sucked, but I miss the old shop work.

This summer I worked as a pelletizer operator in the three big blast furnaces in Hamilton ON. Got paid $15/hr, 50hrs/week. Worst job I ever had in my life. The work is back-breaking, you're working with 2500 degree material all day, and its dangerous both physically and the chemicals you breathe. I will not be returning to that job next year, but at least it paid my tuition.

I work for a small construction company as one of the three Project managers and lead carpenter. I hate it but i needed a job when i quit circuit city 6 years ago and here i am. I work a strict 40-42 hours a week, i don't get paid crap, we have crap benefits and no retirement. But i do get my own truck and 2weeks vacation. Im currently trying to find time to finish my degree in Electromechanical engineering (robotics) and find a real job that pays more than 35,000 a year. Anyone hiring LOL

I am a wastewater mechanical tech here in FL. Been doing it for about 3 1/2 years. I work on high voltage pumps and electrical panels that move waste along to a treatment plant. Basically, I work in shi*. Fun job though. 40 hours per week but I do a on call rotation once every four weeks that usually ends up around 80-90 hours per week. Good thing it is only one week a month.

i'm a eng. tech for a large company down in florida...right now our hours are crappy because everything is behind schedule, but we're on 11 hour days 5-7 days a week...and my weekends are on thursday and friday, this is all temporary though til our product is out the door. 8)
I do tech support for Rite Aid stores. I'm a senior level analyst. I've been there for 10+ years now and fix software financial problems at store level. I usually put 45-70 hours in per week depending on the time of the month.
I also have a part time job as a key carrier for Payless, the home of Crappy Chinese made shoes. Ha Ha! I put 15-19 hours per week in there.

That salary crap will do that to you - been there, done that, don't do it NO more!
Found out after sticking that kind of situation out too long that whatever outfit wants you to do that - it really isn't the only job in the world. REALLY!!
I used to be Nite Shop Foreman for 5 millionaire brothers in their paving business, 70 hrs minimum during paving season by the end of Friday nite, then worked Sat days 2 Sat's out of 3. Salary. BOHICA!
Later got stuck working Safety, Quality, Security, and Subontractor coordinator
for a construction management firm, mostly 7 days a week never less than 10 hrs/day, 1 weekend home trip a month from the project. Salary. BOHICA!
Now I finally worked my way up to Quality Manager for power plant construction projects, or Quality Assurance rep for the owner. Like that better. I just watch
the contractor QC do all the inspecting crawling around up in the pipe racks and all the nasty tight places in the boilers. To be honest, I'm so darn old I don't think I could do that any more anyway :-/ I'm a Certified Welding Inspector, also qualified in concrete, earthwork, coating/paint, tanks, piping, boilers, structural, roofing - pretty much everything except electrical. GOSH it's hard waiting to retire in about 3 yrs! I would SO much rather be working on my hot rods - even tho it really doesn't pay "quite as good"!

USAF F-16 crew chief been in almost a year (jan 23) work up to 60 hrs a week but usally less benifits are good pay is pretty okay
