stripe kits

There are tons of different kits. Some are just hood, roof, and trunklid, while some are all body panels. They can also be cut to fit different front bumpers, spoilers, hoods, etc. Roush for instance makes one for their entire body kit, or what they call a hybrid kit. The hybrid contains stripes that fit with the stock front and rear bumpers, but have the Roush hood scoop and Roush ducktail spoiler. I've seen many other kits that you can option out similarly. Sorry I can't give you a more clear/specific answer.

I would like to get stripes as well.

I am debating over getting the vinyl or painted. My father does heavy collision auto body and painting for 30 yrs now so I have the painted option and a little to low cost. I dont know whats involved though painting on stripes for the painter.

I am pretty set on getting the color combo below for my black stang. I want a color that no one else has dared to get ;)

A guy in the Mustang club I'm in has that exact hood(factory non scoop)design and looks great(Torch Red car with Gloss Black graphic)! He originaly got the vinyl, but the guy he had doing it couldn't get it to lay properly. He decided to just have it painted on. He had it painted matte black and didn't like it so he had them gloss it. I love the way it turned out. Here it is below:nice:

I've never had an issue on my white stripes. I wax/seal them along with the car so they've always looked new. I noticed last week when it was up on the lift(head level)that they shined almost as much as the paintThey've been on the car about 11 months now. A tip for waxing/sealing them...apply in the same direction as the stripe, never across it to prevent buildup at the seam.

Oooh.

You better make sure that is something you really want. Green on black is a very unusual combination... especially the green. Be sure you aren't going to grow tired of it.
