when i press on my clutch and held it down it made a like a tick sound (loud), it sounds like it is coming from the bellhousing area. this is only when im not moving. and sometimes when im driving and i shift into any gear as best as i can describe it i can hear and feel the gears spinning in my trans. and a bit of a bad vibration. i know something bad is going on. when i get a chance to take a look at it, should i check for bad mounts, everything is tight, etc.

it kind of sounds like the t/o bearing is catching in a groove on the input bearing retainer on the trans.
but the first thing to do is to get under the car...check the fluid level...make sure everything looks right and than go from there.
