gotta question

ok so i have been thinking about turboin my stang. and i have come up with an idea. (here is my idea) (http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/...etup/?action=view&current=stangturbosetup.jpg) my question is after looking at my plan where would i hook up the maf. and i know i would have to get it tuned, i plan on buying hte sniper tuner (would this tuner work). adn what size injectors would i have to use. and my last and most important question is would my idea work? thanks for the input and help.

i really was just thinking of some ideas, but i would rather put teh turbo up at the front of teh car, but dont know how i would make both exhaust manifolds connect to the exhaust flange on the turbo. but i would like to do my setup or something similar to it but im really not sure. so if anyone has any photos of any single turbo setups it would be great.

You know there are turbo headers to that point the exhaust towards the front of the car too

STS makes a turbo setup that mounts the turbo(s) near the back bumper (where there is more room than in the middle of the car).
I could just see you hitting a speed bump and seeing your turbo lying on the ground behind you.

go to turbomustangs.com... you will find that most people doing a remote style turbo end up removing it and mounting it up front.. for "slapping it in there" remotes are the way to go, but they WILL drag and scrape.. also with a remote style you are almost required to run without an intercooler or you will have some pretty bad boost lag.. also oil return to the pan is a problem, you will have to run a seperate oil pump to return the oil to the pan.. dont forget about getting water in the filters..

mount it up front in the hot engine bay (TURBOS LOVE HEAT!!) in the end you will make more power and wont run the risk of breaking something..

there isnt really any advantages to running a remote setup on the mustangs, Vette guys is a differant story, we have about a half dozen vette guys around here running a STS remote and it is very good power to be had.. but not so much room on the stangs...

hope that helps..
