Those that Dune ride....

were gonna be there friday though monday. Looks like im bringin some rain gear. None of us have ever ventured to sand lake and I like to do a little hill shooting so I should be good for a weekend. Is race gas available nearby or should I bring extra?

There's a store near Sandlake but I doubt they have race gas. You should bring everything you need. SL is in the boonies.

Wunderground is forcasting partly sunny/cloudy this weekend. If it's dry I may go. Come on Cory you know you're dying to ride that thing. :nice:

No dought. I am "jones-in" to spank some Banshee's for sure this yr. In fact, I can't wait for the next 450R bike to pull up and want some....hope he brings his eye googles...9 paddle super lights have a history of throwing some monster roosts:eek:

I can go Thrusday, but not the wkend, sorry.

Sand Lake store does not have race gas, so make sure you bring some. AFP has some if your in need of the good stuff...120 octane!

He used to sell it in 5 gallon buckets with no funnel, but people complained so he discontinued towards the end of last yr. Would not surprise me if he brings it back though. Its 110 I believe, but I heard he was looking to only carry the 100 octane due to costs....all hear say, but I agree with Jordan, if he carries it this yr, I would not buy it from him either. Other stuff, yeah, just not gas and mix oil:flag:

I was about to come in here and start runnin my mouth about my 50 hp z470 but maybe thats not such a good idea.

I was too, but then remembered he was in the works of a new motor and his last setup was still fast. Then I saw the 70rwhp and knew I had nothing on it!

I have a YFZ450, WR crank, CP Wicked 13.5 piston, Crower Victory cam, Curtis Sparks exhaust, KW dual spring valve kit, +1mm SS valves, port and polished head, FCI intake. Full blown MX bike so its still heavy. We figure its good from 52+whp, but havent strapped it down yet to get any numbers.

Lol..:flag:

That's quite a list of mods 'blown. Who did your port work? LRD has a dyno with quad straps, but I believe Rev is also able to dyno...but don't quote me. Have a few YFZ riders in our group.:nice:

sounds liek a pretty good setup on that yfz! You should have me! Mines mainly a mx and woods quad so it isnt to wild. Im still running an airbox and its only about 12.75:1 so its still pretty tame. Almostblown i dont know where your located but theres a dyno in puyallup washington at s&s motorsports if your looking for some rollers. Be sure to specify that you want it ran with their slicks though because they ran mine with knobbies.

I thought you were sellin yours?

man I cant wait till winchester bay thisyear... were gonna keep our quads, I think I'd go crazy without mine lol, but we'll probly be towing both of them down to windy bay behind my wifes focus again lol

Cool, glad to hear that Jordan.

Does not matter how you get them there...just put them in the sand, and let the fun begin!:nice:

Keith has a great talent for snappin pics. The camera helps, but some of the chit he captures is wicked:nice:
