I used to love this site, but became very ill for a long long time and fell out of the scene. Luckily I'm back to 120% health, better than ever before.

My mustangs on the other hand, are not in such good shape.
First the easier to describe, my DD 98 GT needs new brakes, so I figure while I'm there I'll tell the guy that my ebrake has never offered significant resistance. He takes a look at it, says it's in working order and doesn't know why the ebrake doesn't hold (which it doesn't.)

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to the problem? When you pull the ebrake the cable does depress the drums onto the brakes, so aside from some visible wear on the cable the mechanics of it seem to work.

The second problem is my beloved BAB 98 cobra, it's been covered for a while since I've been recovering, but now that I take it out I notice that the radio, speedometer, odometer, and door locks do not function. The battery is charged and working, however, a friend suggested that maybe mice had their way with some of the cars wiring? This is possible, the garage does get the occasional mouse during the winter season.

Any help is appreciated small or big!

And it's good to be back,
Chris :flag:
