Before owning a Mustang, I hated working on cars. I hated it with a passion. Now I run to summit racing when I'm bored just to buy something for my Mustang to add to it. It started off innocent with a short throw shifter, then went to muffler delete pipes, then to a few quick appearance mods, then I ordered a CAI, Now I'm looking for SC's... today I was bored, and I ran up to Summit and bought some Ford Racing Headers, and Granatelli LCA's...

is there a Mustang anonymous I can check into?

On a more serious note, I think I've found a way to cure the mod bug. I've pretty much concluded that you need to go ahead complete any and all modifications that are in sight whether from plans or dreams that you ''may have'' encountered while sleeping. It has to be the most healthy way to deal with this ''so called'' problem.

When I bought this car in late '04 I remember saying I might put a set of wheels on it.

In the first few weeks, I got the Flows and Fanblades and figured I wasn't going much further when I got the CAI/tune and gears...
I was just writing up my "show and go" mods last week and I'm up to 23 and I have 2 more in the mail now:eek:

Not being in the Mustang game since 2003, I knew exactly what was going to happen buying a bone stock car..I bought her in late August 07, and in 6 short months somehow blew about $14,000..If the wife only knew about 1/2 of it, Id be living in a van down by the river eating a steady diet of government cheese(RIP Farley)...What we do is not healthy:Damnit: but, you could be blowin ur $$$ up ur nose or in ur arm, so I dont feel bad..But still, its a sickness, for which the only cure is more mods....:flag:

I have no problem! I see a mod, save for mod, purchase mod, install mod and enjoy as they add up...is that a problem:shrug:
Oh yeah, the whole denial thing being the first sign of an addiction...:bs:

I don't have a problem, oh wait I just picked my car up from ford today after they had it a week putting more stuff on for me. It's funny my girlfriend always asks me what I’m getting done to my car. This time I told her I had to get new breaks. Little did she know I was also getting an aluminum drive shaft, steeda bump steer kit and steeda X-2 ball joints installed:D . Man when dose this mod sickness we all have end. Oh, I think I herd the only way to solve this sickness is to by a super charger.:SNSign:

I ordered $7000.00 worth of MODS in one day online. Lucky for me I'm single, or I would be. I could easily spend another 7K but shipping would eat up a good portion of that. I usually come to Stangnet, or Brads when I can't find nothing to order or I'm broke. I'd seriously consider giving up my left one for a supercharger, and a Cal-Dream hood.

Shazam called me the day after I received my tax refund because they were worried about fraud. Spent about $2500 in 15 minutes at 4 different websites hahaha.
