They look like the origional lights, to my knowledge they have never been changed. But I don't have the coin as of now, so my question. Is their any way to brighten the lights up? Maybe a better bulb that will produce more light.

Hi, If you have a buffer you can hit them with some plastic polish and buff em out.

I have used mothers car wax and alot of elbow grease to get some of the oxidation off. You can also get very very fine sandpaper and wet sand the yellow off.

Thanks, I will try that very soon. Is their any way to take the front portion of the headlight off that would make it possible to clean the inside?

I haven't examined them yet, but I figured I would first ask before I start.

no there is no way to take the front lens off. it is part of the housing, which is removable, but you will not be able to clean it because the hole is only big enough for the bulb. flip side is, thats exactly why its probably not that dirty in there, assuming your bulb sealed well against the back, and that theres no holes or anything drilled in them (some guys do that to stop condesation).

When i changed my headlights to the ultra clear housings, my headlight output was noticably better. combined with new bulbs and a 3g alt, theyre pretty damn good.

for cheapo cheaop i'd say sand the yellow off, and buy new bulbs from AZ

you can put some alchohol inside the headlights, cup your hand over the hole and shake it around. it will clean the inside and the alchohol wond leave they foggy like water would.

then just buff with a plastic polish from an autostore. maybe hit it with some 2000 grain sand paper if its still yellow

get one of the little powerballs that you put in a drill....theyre amazing with a little polish
