So correct me if I'm wrong but the kit comes with a y-pipe that has cats right? Or does it use the stock H-pipes cats?

Yes, I know it uses the single Y but it has to collect into something. I'm asking b/c I've got my stock H-Pipe in the attic and an O/R H-Pipe on the car.

I'm pretty sure I'll need to cut part of the mid-pipe but not sure where. This will determine whether or not I put the stock mid-pipe back on or not.

It replaces the entire midpipe. So wherever the current midpipe goes in, the Y pipe will go in at. So you have the downpipe that goes to the Y pipe (in place of the current mid pipe) and then the Y pipe connects to the over axle pipes and those obviously connect to the axle backs. I think that's what you were asking....

I see, so I wont need to use my mid-pipe at all?

you cut your pipe

you cut your pipes 2" behind the cats, you attach the y pipe to the ends after the cats. so yes, you use the stock cats. I bought an aftermarket H-Pipe and just cut it to the same length to get rid of my cats

hmm

i would say that im pushing the limit. the 512 pass it boosted to 12psi, that is about all that is safe. the guy at the shop i dyno'd it at said "three pulls all over 500hp, start saving for a short block" so i may tune it down a psi or 2.

well, what that guy said and what is true is two totally different things. i do wonder how much it will hold... btw 512rwhp @ 12psi is impressive :nice:
