after i read that i laughed so hard lolnot sure how you could tell a difference of 4" from that distance lol. thats like people that say they sited ufos and they say it appeared to be a mile long lol.

I can tell the Difference Between a GT-40 and a GT.... there are BIG differences and 4 inches in height is VERY noticeable. If you have seen at GT40 and a GT next to each other you will get a better understanding of the Differences (Most people on here have never seen the 2 cars next to each other so i dont expect them to understand)
A 4 inch height difference is BIG.. thats like lowering a Mustang 4 inches and then saying "I dont know if you can tell the Difference Between The lowered car and a Stock Car"

SRT I was jus screwing with you, the whole point I guess is the OP knew it was a GT and not a GT40 he just misstyped. And ya must have a great eye to see that height difference with such a small picture taken in the rear view mirror and obstructed by the wing

You must not know very much about the Ford GT or GT40 Because The GT40 Never Came with Sideview Mirrors
Sideview mirrors would have ruined the aerodynamics for Le Mans

call me stupid but those ford GTs with that paint scheme don't seem that rare
I've seen a few of them around.
Weird coincidence that i have this pic. I took it last year directly across the street from where ^^ that pic was taken.
I see the differences when you compare the two next to each other.
You sorta contradict yourself SRT, because if you had already known that a GT40 did not have side view mirrors like you claim you do, you would have stated that in your FIRST post with something like:
"That car is WAY too tall to be a GT40, plus it has side view mirrors which the GT-40 never had. In that case, it HAS to be a Ford GT."
Then we would believe that you are as knowledgable as you claim you are, but as it is all you prove is that you can google something.

Like i stated Before, i have seen a Ford GT and GT40 next to each other 4 times (Cars & Coffee in So Cal) so i have Real Life Experience telling the difference between the 2 cars.
I in No way Contradicted myself, Google Just helped me Prove facts that i already knew by giving me easy access to pictures to prove my point.
I bet till before i posted about the mirrors you probably thought the GT-40 had side mirrors lol
SRT, for the love of God if you tell us one more time how many times you've seen the 2 cars next to each other, i'll fly to Cali and go to that show FIVE TIMES just so I can come on here and mention 17 times in this thread that I saw the cars next to each other 5 times.
FIVE times i saw them.....not apart, but next to each other. Not close, but NEXT to each other. ALMOST touching mirrors but they couldn't because the GT-40 didn't have any, but if it did, they would touch. 5 times.

I am sorry you never have seen a GT40 and a Ford GT next to each other.... But I have seen a FordGT and GT40, Side-By-Side, 4 Times
