black billet grille

just installed my black billet grille, I wanted a grille that would allow me to keep the factory fogs in their original location, it's a overlay but the quality is top notch, it's powder coated front, back and sides and best of all it was $119.00 shipped to my door.

Price is cheap enough. It is out of stock though. How does it fasten? You get lower and upper grills?

kit included upper and lower grilles, upper attaches with 3" long bolts that go thru the front of grille in thru a bracket between the bars that you don't see thru the openings of the factory honeycomb grille then there is a plate and a lock nut on the backside, the lower has 4 hook like brackets that attach it to the lower grille.

I've been looking for a while, and thats the only type of black billet grille that leaves the fog lights in. Anyone else see any black billet replacements and not overlays?

I just don't like the look of the shiny billet grilles, and I do love my fog lights. But I find the stock plastic honeycomb a PITA to clean. Need to replace it......

That sure is funny as I've never had a problem keeping the OEM honeycomb clean. My beef with it is how much water it retains under the bottom edge after washing it:(

Yeah, thats another PITA. And thats the main reason I would want a replacement grille, not an overlay.

I found another black billet grille by carriage works, but is also an overlay if the fog lights are kept. They have a replacement grille if you remove them :(

+1 on the PITA to dry the front edge of that grille! Almost feel like I should take it off. I have the 'chrome' look ones and I like the black on your car. Everything on my car is white or chrome so I think it fits ok with my look. Yours definitely needed the black.
