dyno $

Locally one shop charges $125/175 an hour if your a member of a local board, depends on if you use their parts or not on the dyno time as well. Eight pulls were done while tuning my na 306. Another shop charges $40 for initial pull, 20 each pull after that.

The first shop has a very good rep., and I have been there. Havnt been to the other one yet.

I've seen it as low as $50 for 3 pulls w/print out, and I've seen it up to $200 w/print out. Depends on where you go. Call around or look for events that have free dyno days. Don't forget to take video & or pictures and post up your dyno sheet. :nice:

thats wut i thought. theres a really good deal on a dyno from land and sea... im pretty sure i will have the funds at the end of march. i posted on dfwstangs.net and everyone balked at 60 for 3... yet all the local dynos are charging 75 for 3. the shop its goin in at is near dallas. i think everyone is just hating. im more than certain 60-65 for 3 is reasonable.... another ? about how many ppl would visit a dyno in a month? i know it would be hard to say for certain but wut do you guys think?

What the shop owners here (los angeles area) do is invite clubs to have a "dyno day" and charge 50.00$$ for three pulls . usually the limit the event to 20 cars to pay for the dyno. it usually takes all day most shops host the bbq (food and drinks) not only does it pay for the dyno but you will get new customers. I love dyno days they are great!!!!!!

What shop are you taking it to in the Dallas area. I'm in Plano and I'm always looking for good places. HPP racing in Lewisville does good dyno tuning, but I don't know what their prices are.
