patriot heads

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about running the patriot heads with the cam. If you are going NA if it would be worth it or if there is any better ones out there? What kind of gains that you might look to get from them? Thanks.

you should do a search here and on the net you will find all kinds of problems with thier heads. just spend the extra $100 and get some mmr heads much better quality from what i've read.

i think most of the problems they were having has been fix
i ordered mine and will get them monday so i will put up some pictures and remarks about them

Thats what they are. Factory PI castings ported and what ever else you want done.

I'm in favor of manually ported PI heads with bronze guides and over-sized valves, still less than patriots

no one makes an aftermarket head that I am aware of... all companies port a stock head.

I would go with a better combo that has either Manley or Crower valve springs and retainers. Also some companies don't recommend using bigger valves with a stock bore. I would go with MMR for price, Fox Lake for quality.
