How to Remove ABS Reluctor Wheel?

Just gently bang it off. :) You don't want to scuff/damage that machined portion of the axle.

Then, *throw it away*! It's not any good anymore! Regardless, of what clueless a person may tell you. I'm sure that someone that will tell you how they "reused" their ABS sensor and how it "still works". Yea, and morons play Russian Roulette.

The ABS tooth wheels must be "pressed on" with a non metal press. And, you CAN NOT BACK IT OUT pass a pressed on point. They are an interference fit onto a *tapered* area on the axle.

In reality, you can take a 2x4 and GENTLY tap the speed wheel *slowly* and *evenly* onto the axle to the *correct* offset from the hub. You need to "press" the wheel on only for about an inch or so. So, GO SLOW and take five minutes to do it RIGHT.

For Mustangs, see near the bottom of:

I don't know the spec for the speed wheel on a t-bird rear axle. Measure it first before you take it off, and you should be all set to put on a *new* one.
