Little background... Car has 17k miles. The hesitation started right after i installed the TR6 spark plugs ( i gapped them to the saleen recommended gap... i think it's .52 or something like that) and I also installed the 75mm throttle body.

The hesitation is happening if you go Full throttle at any rpm... mainly low.. 2 or 3k. However if you acclerate slowly and then wot it around 4k or so... no problems.

Some other mods on the car are: Chicane pulley, intake, focus svt FP, 75mm throttle body, O/R H-pipe and some other minor thingies..

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks.

If your car is supercharged, the stock gap (.52) is NOT correct....
Most are around .35 or so, but check with Saleen for what they suggest for FI cars.

If your car is NOT supercharged, double check the plugs.
Sometimes if you drop a plug into the hole when you are installing it will land on the electrode and close up the gap.

Weekend project... The Car is supercharged... series I supercharger.. It's a pain in the ass to get to some of these spark plugs.

I installed Tr6's thinking it would be better and stuff since they were never changed... The car came supercharged from Saleen and under the hood there is a saleen sticker that said to gap them at like .48 to .55 or something like that... so i did the middle...

Gap shouldn't be the problem. You aren't making enough power to worry about spark blowout. I gap mine at .45. If you put the TB on at the same time check for vacuum leaks especially around the throttle body, and also check the voltage on the tps sensor. It should be around 0.98
