im just going off of what i've seen people talking about here in the forums. I personally use the tri ax. Maybe someone can elaborate on the MGW for us more.
mgw FTMFW. hands down the best shifter made. I have driven cars with both the steeda tri-axe and the mgw and the mgw is by far the best thats why i bought one.

Does anyone have the roush handle or the upr trick shift handle? I am pretty concerned about the way the actual stick sits in the shifter. I was trying to bring it closer to me which both of those seem to do.
MGW is a very nice shifter. You can adjust the position 360* as well as move it higher or lower. You cant angle it forward or backward, but the orange handle (the one that normally comes with it, unless they changed it) is comfortable.
It is really only a matter of preference. Pretty much every shortthrow shifter will be an improvement over stock. With that being said, I have an MGW. The build quality of the shifter is top of the line. It is also the most adjustable, as stated above. Well worth the extra $ if you ask me!
never tried an mgw but i have never heard a single bad thing about it. i have used the hurst shifter, and now have the steeda triax. the hurst shifter to me was not very good. it put the handle in an awkward position. i really like the triax i have now. hope this helps.
i have the tri-ax and i like it. when my girlfriend had a mustang she had a tr-ax on hers. she had a T-45 and i think the tri-ax felt better on that trans than the 3650. but really....if you get either one you wont be dissapointed.
