Anybody ever tried to separate these black water pipes before?
I have not seen it done before yet.
Seeing how we don't use one of them I want to get rid of it b/c it looks like a$$ in there.

I DID IT TO MINE YOU HAVE TO CUT THEM APART IT'S NOT HARD JUST BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET INTO THE LINE WITH WHATEVER YOU ARE USING TO CUT IT WITH . I LEFT THE ONE YOU USE AND THEN RAN THE RUBBER HOSE FOR THE OTHER LINE IF I CAN SCAN THE PIC I HAVE I'LL POST IT LATER ON.

Most guys just delete it entirely and put a rubber hose in there JR. I think RC has his done like this with pics...

Good Memory Paul..You should have been a pharmacist!

JR..the shop the did my install trashed that piece and deleted my heater without my approval
<marquee> :bs: ..... :bs: ..... :bs: ..... :bs: ..... :bs: </marquee>

Anyway, Oink had the one side that goes from the ECT/intake to the firewall. he sold me that piece :hail2: , and we ran hose from the water pump to the firewall.

The best pic I could find shows it here, going under the alternator, then b/t the alt and the VOrtech..back to the firewall.

It was really pretty easy, EVEN FOR ME!! :rlaugh:

You mean that thermostat neck?
I am going to black RTV the hell out of it and if it pisses me off I have some JB Weld on hand. j/j :D

Yeah, I meant the water NECK.

Yeahlo...I got one of those heavy cast ones from D.A.P. for $8. Thing is strong and straight. So far no leaking after 3 days. Joe put one on his neighbor's car, and he said you can TQ that sucker down tight.

JR...I have a lot of polished stuff, but since Im not too good at taking the car apart, and It is my only driver, I wont be taking stuff off like that to do any time soon. You do us proud. Keep it up.

JOE..so far I think it's safe to get that water neck. You'll just have to check for clearance to grind down the edges, and you can either polish and clearcoat it, or spray paint it.
