I always thought a GTS would be more valuable than a regular GT. Figured they are a little rare, so in my mind maybe a little more valuable. But Kelleys Blue Book show the value as less than a normal GT. What do you guys think?

its woth less b/c it does not come with as many options such as power windows, rear spoiler exc exc exc...stuff that would usually add to the value of the car is not present on the GTS. Its not limited produced enough to really be worth more then any othe Mustang, not like its a Cobra R

It's one of those cars that will just have to wait and see is time helps the value. Never know, 30 years from now, we might be watching the Barrett-Jackson and see one roll by for some serious money and we can say, "yeah, I remember when we thought those things worth anything." :)

well the one i am looking at has power windows and locks, ac, but yes, no mach 460 or spoiler.

You sure its a GTS, sounds more like a stripped down GT more so then a GTS. Not all GT's came w/ a spoiler or the Mach 460 but I was under the impression that all GTS's had no power locks/windows.

Also Kelly blue book is not the best place to go for car value when your dealing with something thats a bit different or not as common. KBB bases value mostly on mileage and condtion of the car w/ out much regard for what the car really is (yes it does to a point but not so much as if you were actually to get a car appraised)

Not all of the GTS models came without power windows and door locks. I believe it was an option. I looked at a GTS before I bought my Cobra and it had power windows and locks. I have seen a few since that did not.

The GTS is not that rare. And you could get it with whatever option you wanted. The true test is that they don't have fog lights and the seat material is that of a V6.

I would think they would be worth less.

i dunno, people like stripped down foxes with no options. maybe sometime our model will become that in the future.

it may be worth less on paper, but worth more otherwise.

i'd like to think of our 2 years as rare in general. not as rare as a lot mustangs, but they have a special thing about them. awesome exterior and interior styling, the famous 302. when looking for an sn95, i find alot more 4.6's or 3.8s vs 5.0s.

the value wont be more for getting less....and the gts you are looking at is a basic gt with the spoiler taken off lol so if i can take 4 bolts out and get more money for my car im all about it HAHA
