white smoke at higher rpm's

So recently I just noticed that when I get on it at around 3500 in forth, my car is blowing out white smoke, from what looks like under the hood on the right side(intake side). It puts off a burning smell too. Im thinking maybe a head gasket because its going through a heck of alot of coolant, but never overheats?

Any thoughts would be appreciated, shes my baby.

Well If the head gasket is blown and it is putting out white smoke then it would have to compressing it and burning it which then it would come out of your exhaust. If it is coming out from under the hood white then maybe it is blown from a water jacket to the outside. Therefore if you kept water in it then it shouldnt overheat

Seems to eat through coolant here lately, and I know I have a small oil leak. Oil pressure looks good, sits between the "O" and "R" in Normal. Just changed the Oil a couple days ago and I just noticed that it looks like some of the spilt oil dripped down the H-Pipe. Stupid question but could I have put too much oil and its throwing some out, and onto the H? And its burning it there?

Ehh, HG wasnt what I was hoping for..:nonono: Never done a HG before. Weekend job or should I let somene do it?

Well yeah its a weekend job or one day if you work all day but for someone that has never done it I would say a weekend job. Nothing to it really though. Take off the intake and the heads clean the gaskets surfaces on both the heads and the block. Put new head gaskets. buy some ARP head bolts with some moly lube and put the heads back on. Be sure to get a torque wrench and torque the heads right. Then put the intake back on ( dont tighten the intake too much or it will blow the head gaskets again) And nobody dont say it wont cause mine did. I tightened mine down to tight and blew the head gasket on both sides as soon as it got hot in the same place on both sides. anyway then I would let the car run for a minute or two with no water so the heads seal good and then add water..( oh yeah dont put sealant on the head gaskets :nono:
