Just like the title says, will an 03 Cobra blower fit on a 91 GT? There is one for sale locally for cheaper than usual. I know the guy who just pulled it off last weekend and is selling it reasonable. I believe it is the M-112. From what I've read all it would take is a little customizing to get it to fit the lower intake. Is this correct and has anybody here tried this before?

Also would I need the plenum too?

a little work??? this would most likely take more fabbing than it is worth. unless you have a full machine shop at your disposal I would pass on this one and save for a vortech.

Since its a roots style blower maybe you could make an adapter using the SC T-birds as a template. If you made it out of sheetmetal and had a goos fab shop it would work. Good luck with routing the belt and clearing the T-stat housing.

I do have a full machine shop for easy access. A friend's dad of mine works at one and he does all the machining we need for our cars. As for as hoods I already have a cowl hood, although I'm not sure of the dimensions of an M112. I was just wondering if anybody has done this or seen it done before.

not worth the time and effort and money, why spend all the money to make a 400 dollar blower work when you can buy a kit for 1500 and have no issues.

do as you will but it sounds way easier than it is

It's pointless, it's unlikely that you could get the intercooler setup to work, which is a main ingrediant of why lightnings and 03 cobras are so great.
Those blowers are a dime a dozen these days anyway.

Oh no doubt do I agree with you there but its cool to see people do stuff out of the ordinary, the OP was asking about an Eaton blower and this build popped into my head so I figured I'd share with anyone who hadn't seen it.

That's part of the motivation to do it, out of the ordinary. Main de-motivation is money though. Same way everybody told my friend that putting a turbo on a duratech Focus would be a waste. Yet on 5 pounds of boost he can beat the majority of people here. He's pushing about 320 whp with only 5 pounds. This wouldn't be the first time we've done something out of the ordinary.
