73 Axel bearing removal

Finally got the pumkin out, the copper washers was what was hanging me up. Thanks all for the advice getting it out, it helped. Now the bearing and seals for the axels. Do thay have to be pressed off and then pressed back on? Ready to start the re-assembly of the housing and diff this week, got the disk brakes kit and what to put them together (back order on the bushings and shackels for the springs so I can't hang it yet) but before I start pounding on the bearings and ruin the axels thought I'd ask first... Thanks!

Even my do-it-yourself video (Bad Shoe Productions) recommends taking the axles to an experience shop to get the bearing off. He does show you how to remove the pressed on bearing "locks" with a big hammer and cold chisel (but I would not try it).

Thanks guys! Took the axels, the new bearings and seals and the new lugs (for the rear disk conversion) to the shop today. might as well get it all done in one shot. Have them back tomorrow. I'll post some picts. Thanks again!!
