Tips and Tricks for installing Motor Mounts...

you can get them out easily with everything still in place.

just take the big nuts off on the bottom, then remove the smaller bolts holding the mounts to the block and jack the engine up higher enough to wiggle the mounts out, i took mine out to replace freeze plugs in my car and they came out fairly easily. you may have to twist move the mount around some to get it out.

Nobody here really mentioned it, but you have to lean the motor from side to side and do one side at a time. The block of wood with a jack is how I did it, and seems to be the best option. When you are moving the motor around like that, be very careful not to pinch/pull/tear the wiring harness or vacuum lines on the top side, and of course be careful to keep an eye on any other parts that might collide.
