fox vs sn95 5.0 motor question

getting the motor done for my fox roller..

the question i have is this.

the donor motor was out of a 95 5.0 im going carb so any diffrences with the intake are not going to matter, and i have a bellhousing and t5 from a fox so im all set on that end..

now, with that said, am i going to run into any problems with the front accessories (no ac) when putting this into the car, or should everything fit ok

The only difference I know of between the short blocks is that 94-95 used hypereutectic pistons, whereas 87-92 used forged. The 93 Mustangs were also treated to the hypereutectics.

im just worried about any interference issues with the accessories etc. i have everything else all set

I'm pretty sure you need the entire accessory setup from the fox.
The 95 stuff is not the same.

Where did you read this? I thought my 92 had hypereutectic pistons... If what you said is true...then I have forged??

The changeover was made late in the '92 model run, so a fair amount of '92's were built with Hyper pistons.
