yeah I will just drain the fluids and lock it up in the garage until a brighter day, I am considering making stickers that have a green mustang maybe text saying earth friendly mustang, on it with the to make fun of the car

I'd end up cutting a hole in my living room wall and building a shrine in the middle of my house with it before i ever sold it

me too! my 5.0 gets way better gas mileage than my truck does though. best of 31 highway. usually 25+, and 18-20 city. compare that to 10-14 city, 15+ highway with a best of 23.

I also agree with the guy that said i cant drive a car if i dont enjoy it.

And the guy that said theyd have to pry it from my cold dead hands

:nice:

Gas will never go that high, people would riot. We're already at the point where the eco-mentalists are being shushed so we can drill for more oil...

Doesn't matter. Oil is a LIMITED resource. It's going away. The entire Pacific Rim, India, China, etc... are all industrializing and using up oil faster and faster than we ever thought possible. Gas prices are going up and up and whether we want to admit it or not is irrelevant. We need to find other ways to fuel our cars (natural gas comes to mind) that will help us 1) be more energy independent, and 2) replace oil on a major level.

That being said, I wont ever sell my Mustang, but I may be trading it here shortly for a 03 Cobra instead :)

I'll never sell, unless i find a mustang i like better thats faster. Even if we completely run out of gas, I'll make my girlfriend push me around while I play recorded mustang engine noises out the window:rock:

It would have to be some other really super important reason than just gas price for me to sell mine! As of a few days ago, 93 went just over $4/gal and that was my stopping point of just cruising all about whenever I felt like it. I'm now in to/from work and important outings mode!

NONE!!!!! I will never sell this car due to gas, I'm luck enough to have a ****wagon for a daily driver but even so I still get 21mpg with a 60/40 city hwy mpg and 30mpg on highway even with the mods I've done you can't beat that with a stick considering the car is so fast!!!

Might have to sell the boat instead, 300 bucks to fill the tank..

Caught a guy local filling his 40ft cigarrette boat this weekend, real sweet boat, chit chatted for a long while. Dual supercharged 454's off the back, fill up cost him 750.00 - had to have the cashier ring him out something like 9 times because there was an 80.00 authorization limit on the pumps.

Just heard this morning the lakes were empty here over the weekend. Only the wealthy can afford to go out and play these days.
