my 66 coupe has a 302 bored .030 over,mild cam,edelbrock intake with edelbrock carb 600 cfm, and headers. what would you reccommend for a electric fuel pump if i went that route.
you don't really need one yet but if you did just the holley Red which will still support the engine even if you do some more upgrades like aluminum heads.
I'm with 12sec. IMO if you don't NEED one, they are noisy and just one more thing to add to a 40 year old wiring harness. I was glad to get rid of the N2O because it is one less thing tied into it.
From personal experience: The Holley Red is noticeably LOUD. I switched to a Mallory Comp Pump 110 series ( a 70 series would be fine for your car I think) and it operates with no noticeable noise from inside the car. 2100 miles without a problem so far.
