The BBk should fit with the rest of the mac exhaust on. I would recommend the BBK over the MAC anyways, I've had both and i don't like the mac, it keeps warping because it isn't a single flange to the heads, causing exhaust leaks, even with copper rtv.

Really the shop that is going to do the work said to try and locate Mac he really said that have a great fit and finish...And thats all he does is work on Mustangs he is a Mustang shop....He said BBK is ok but he perfers Mac I wonder why..I know he said Mac is a true full length header vs. the BBK he said there not a true full length....Im confussed.....:(

MAC stands for MAKE ANOTHER CHOICE

As stated above, the MAC stuff with out a single flange will warp and develop leaks in time. Take it from some one who has them, and cannot wait to get a nice set of Ceramic Coated BBK shorties.

I'd run BBK long tubes into the BBK H and the MAC catback. If MAC makes a single flange header then go for it, but if they are individual flanges I'd stay away from them.

Thanks guys for your opinions...I went with Mac..The only reason i did was because the shop doing the work suggested them, and ALL he does is mustangs...And i mean thats all he does...He said they fit well and he really likes them...I hope they dont leak but if they do i guess i'll have to see what can be done about that...I hate header leaks...I will be crazy enough to change them out.....lol Now with that being said how loud will this system be? long tubes..off road H-pipe and Mac cat back.....

Hoestly if you don't have to take them on and off they will probably be okay, the first time I had to take mine off I had to use a pry bar to get the holes to line up to get them back on. I have never seen that type pf problem with a single flange header.

Let us know how you make out:nice:

Thanks for the info....If they need to be taken off i'll the shop do that...:) I will let you guys know how the install goes and sounds...:nice:

Once you have them on for a while, say a few years-If you need to take them off, Good Luck on getting them back on and aligning them up! Individual flanges are the worst, This is why BBK with a one piece thick flange is simple to put back and align with ZERO issues. But good luck-anyhow, Hope it works out for you!
