Car Audio Wiring - Need Help!

Hello. I am trying to run 4 gauge wire to hook up a new amp in my trunk of my 2000 Mustang GT (non-convertible). Does anyone know of a documented install page online to find where it was ran through the firewall??

Also I need to run new speaker wires into the trunk and doors. Looking for documentation of this being done as well and how it was done.

Any resources / advice / help appreciated greatly. Thanks in advance!

You can go through the rubber gromet that the clutch cable passes throug or the gromet that some of the factory wiring goes through. It's located higher up and is a better location to reduce the chances of having the wire stepped on or exposed in any way. You do need to be more careful when running through that gromet not to damage any of the factory wiring.

To run wires into the doors, first you remove your kick pannels to expose where the factory wires run through (the trim pops up from the door sill and then after removing the forward retainer (looks like a button on the kick towards the firewall. Pull it out) Then pull on the kick pannel toward the rear of the vehicle, should pop out. Next remove your door pannels by first removing the trim around the interior door handle (the piece that the door lock/ window switches are moulded into) these are held in by pressure clips located by the notches on the top of them. Use a flat head screwdriver to press them down while pulling gently outward. After those are out, remove the phillips screws underneath. There might be some phillips on the bottom of the door that have to come out also. (havent pulled mine in a while) I think there is a clip similar to the ones that hold the kicks in on the pannel by the door hinges, pull it out to remove. After those steps are complete, lift the whole pannel upwards to remove. Then pull the speaker out and follow it into yhe car. I find that a large zip tie with the wires youre running taped to the end helps navigate the rubber boot connecting the door and body. Reassembly is the same but in reverse order.
