I am looking to paint the interior of my '65 coupe and need some recommendations. I need to paint the interior portion of the doors, the quarter panel pieces and the dash. The doors and quarter panel pieces will be the original black and the dash is going to be the original off-white color.

What is the best paint to use and where can I get it from? Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

I don't have any recommendations cause i had a really bad experience doing mine. I ordered my paint from mustangplus; its called rainbow industries paint or something. I had red paint. the paint was extremely inconsistent. some cans sprayed too rich, others were too watery. After i ordered it everyone said that it was crap. live and learn i guess. I ended up taking it to the guy who painted my car, and he did a crap job on the interior.

I got mine from NPD, Can says Seymour universal solvent blend.

I sanded my doors with one of those soft sanding blocks, cleaned them well with acetone, and painted. This stuff went on well and dried quickly. I am very pleased with the result.

I went down to my local auto paint store and they purchased some good paint and they put in spray cans for 5$ a can. The color was consistent and it went on really good. I was pleased with the turnout.
