IAC Restrictor plates

After my Cobra intake install on my 95 GT I had a hanging idle, so I did some searches on it and read about the restrictor plate for the IAC. It seemed everybody that used it loved it, so I had a couple made. My major changes were in start up and shifting, not so much in neutral revving. The car starts and settles a lot faster. Between shifts is the best, it seems like the car starts to pull before you get back into the gas. Between this and a mechanically setting your idle our cars idle issues can be dealt with! I would recommend this plate to anybody. I work with two guys that have Mach 1’s they are also going to try it because Mach 1’s are know for a hanging idle.
Sine then I have installed one on my 00 GT and it works great!! I made 12 of them (have 7 remaining)and will give them away to who ever wants them. Just let me know

You might be searching in the wrong area. This was originally a problem on the Mach 1.

I think your misunderstanding this thread. It seems like you are trying to help me research the plates? I know the plates work and i have made some of them to give away to forum members.

I made one too. Man I loved it, it was great. I just, for the life of me could NOT, NOT NOT!!!! deal with the poppy ass decel. Every time i let off the throttle POPOPOPOPOP, jeez it drove me nutz

I just got back from a vacation and mine was waiting for me in the mail, haven't installed it yet. Agenda for tomorrow is installing a new clutch, so I don't plan on putting the plate in until Wednesday, but I'll let you know how it goes...

got mine, I have a day off at the end of this week so hopefully nothing comes up and I can install it then. Thanks. I did look at it and it looks like its from ford! You did a nice job on them.

Finally got around to installing mine today. Worked perfectly, did not have to adjust the size at all. And, I'm not even getting any of the popping during decel like a few people warned.
Also, as an unexpected bonus, it seems to have cleared up the rough idle I was getting after installing a 90mm Lightning MAF last week.
