well, i am switching out heads and going with a set of victor jr. heads. my only issues it im not sure if the valves are going to contact the pistons at all. right now i have speed pro pistons:

and a comp cam extreme hyd. energy series cam:

how would i go about finding out if im going to have clearance issues? and if i do, could i notch the piston reliefs? thanks in advance

ok....heads fully torqued? and about how much clay would you use, just a litle to see if it touches? and i should be able to cut the reliefs if it does make contact even with a hyper piston?

When I did mine I installed the heads with no gaskets. Spun oil pump with a drill and cranked engine over by hand. Then pulled off heads and measured the plastercine. I was fine but I do not have factory pistons. I have dished pistons.
