Convertible Trim Paint Flaking

Hey all, If you have an SN95 Convertible, you will know what I'm talking about here. My 02 GT vert's trim panels arround the convertible boot has paint flaking and cracking. The paint is a flat black.

My question is: What solutions have you encountered for this problem? Has anyone had them repainted? If so, do you know if there is a Ford part number or code for the paint?

i would go with some sem Trim black part #39143 which you can get from your local auto body supply store... For preping make sure you clean them real good, sand it down with like 400, put some etch primer on them and repaint.

Thats what I did and haven't had a problem in about 2 years
