first things first, how inaccurate can a dyno be? they said they were having issues with it.......the numbers were just ridiculous so they're staying a secret...
it was an all around crappy time, the car has a personality of her own its like christine.(and i wish i was joking) it gets jealous so it wont start, you talk to it sweetly she'll fire right up, you let the wrong hands touch her, she gets angry and wont run right..... you talk to her sweetly and let the right hands touch her she'll be sexy for you as long as you keep it up....

its a hp performance turbocharged 351w, and the numbers were really low

so i got it on the dyno i had no idea your expected to keep it at your top rpm til it goes pop......so id open it up and let off, cuz im not gonna leave her sittin there at 6 grand like its idling, so id hit 6 n get off, well i opened her up and held it long enough for some good video footage and got off it and it blew an exhaust gasket. it sounded like **** at idle the rest of the day, wot sounded just fine... it screamed loud sounded like 700 horsepower, so the last pull i ran it upto 6 and held it a lil longer than i should have, if she had hands she woulda slapped me....

If I'm understanding you, you were running your own car on the dyno? I've dynoed alot and with different shops, NEVER have I ever run the car on the dyno myself. Find a different place. I have the HP T60 street kit, and with plain old GT40 heads and a Cobra intake it made pretty good numbers. Maybe you don't have somthing exactly right? Here's my sheet. PM me if you need some help.

How about some info? 62mm at 1 psi? Blow through? EFI? Fuel system? Heads? Intake? Timing? A/f? Looks like a sweet ride

60mm @ 10psi, efi, 255 fuel pump, aeromotive 1:1 regulator, 42lb injectors,
victor jr heads, trick flow intake, a/f was 11.3 , dont remember the timing its 18 or 20 whatever the hp kit instructions say...

the air filter isa big k&n filter that came with the kit...

cam2 race fuel 118 or 120 octane..

The turbo is deff small for a 351, a 62 mm is about perfect for a 302. Sounds like your going to need more fuel but somehow there have been guys that made alot of power with a turbo with just a 255 and 42's. That 18 or 20 cant be total timing right? Honestly Id look into scooping up a larger turbo, MP70's are cheap and the new MP76's are cheap also. Not sure if you want ball bearings and such but I got my turbonetics 72mm non ball bearing ceramic coated and polished for $820 shipped on ebay brand new. Iam sure a dyno can read low, personally my car spikes on the torque reading for some reason sometimes so I would think it could go both ways. Dont give up until that thing is making good power and running 10's.

By the way I had a tight squeeze for my turbo so I made up a filter with a layers of chicken wire/wire mesh/dirt bike foam/mesh couldnt get it to make power. Took it off and it made a HUGE difference. Had wastegate problems so I didnt get a number though.

Where are you measuring boost pressure at?

If it is before the intake manifold, maybe you have a huge boost leak. Try to get a vacuum/boost reference direct from the intake manifold if you don't have it set up like that already. Much more accurate.

Other than that...I don't know what could be the problem, unless your timing is way the hell out. Was your spout connector plugged in? Could be something as simple as that, but it definately seems you are ~100whp shy.

My n/a 408 made more power than that.

I am sure that kit is not too small for that 351,crap I'm runnin a 331 with way worse heads and intake than you are. I also feel pretty confident that you have enough fuel . I'm still good on fuel with my new set up-Hogan upper and TrickFlow lower. That thing outa spoil like a bitch. What is your air/fuel and total timing? I was making 25 rwhp/lb of boost and I still had 10# left in that turbo which would have put me over 650 rear wheel, if I would have been smart enough to buy a block to hold it. You need an air/fuel meter!!!!! I'm running on pump gas.

He said his a/f already. Look on the turbo forums but I really think your going to find the turbo is alittle small. I ran out of fuel with a 255 intank and 42's with stock rails and lines at 400 rwhp, that has happened to plenty of other people also. But then others can make way over 500 with just 42's and a 255, win some you lose some.
