Hello all,
I have been having some problems with the electrical system in the car....specifically all the interior lighting EXCEPT the courtesy lights when the doors are open. None of the dash lights, the AC control, or the cigarette lighter area wants to light up. I even tore the car apart and put all new bulbs in everything and still, no lights. I have checked all the fuses and all are good. If you have any insight on what is going on, please let me know. Thank you

BTW, I have a 1992 vert (2.3 of course)

I'd say the problem is in the light switch. Older fords through the 90's had issues with the pigtail and the switch. It's most likely the power to the illumination dimmer.

I had the same problem and it ended up been the dimmer switch. You can jumper the multifunction switch by jumpering B+ and I to see if your dash lights are working ok.

If they dont, check the fuseable links by the Starter Relay on the drivers side fender.
