I'm looking at a few 94-95 rollers and had a few questions about some things from the people who have done it.

351 swap - Any different from one in a fox?

Front drive beackets - If I'm only going to run a water pump, alternator and power steering, then would a March bracket kit work?

Wiring - Most of the rollers on here have the engine wiring harness removed. Would a fox harness and A9L still run this, and would the wiring be long enough? Would it be a wiring nightmare under the dash to retrofit the fox harness to work with the 94-95 dash harness, or it pretty much plug and play?

I'd say an old A9L pcm would be overwhelmed with 50 additional cubic
inches it knew nothing about

Your Load would be W A Y off and that error would be a problem for several
tables in the pcm so it could be said ... the problem would be compounded :bang:

Not saying ... it would not work :nono:

Am saying ... it would not work all that well ;)

it is fine

I know it would need some tuning (50 cubes is a big jump), I was wondering if it would run it at all.

yes it will run fine.

and no th efox harness is not plug and play. you could use our harness to control the engine but it will not plug into the sn's harness.

So I have to go junkyarding for a harness? Or is splicing an option (if I can find wiring schematics and diagrams)? I troubleshoot tanks for a living, wiring and splicing is no big deal, when done right.

Is the physical bolting in of this pretty much like a fox?

why are you wanting to use the fox pcm and wiring harness i believe a few peeps on here have done it with the stock sn-95 pcm and wiring harness with great results. if you are into learning the way of tuning a car then all you need is a tweecer rt to get the job done.

i believe the march pulley system is for a fox. if thats the case i think you would have to have a fox timing cover and water pump. that would put your pulleys dangerously close to the electric fan. it has been done but its a close fit. but on the other hand your stock brackets off a sn-95 5.0 will fit and they look pretty good with a fresh coat of paint.

Thanks for the bracket info guys. I am trying to locate a 94\95 harness and computer (i can get a new comp. from Advance Auto if need be). Anyone seen a harness for an sn95 5.0 anywhere on the internet?

I would do a search on here about the fox A9L. One guy was showing the schematics and all you have to do is swap a few wires on the harness where they plug into the factory computer...he was saying it was no big deal. But he had to wire up the fan manually I think.

There is also a company making a conversion adapter so you plug the A9l into it and then it plugs right into your harness.
