a race

one of my friends is in tight with the people at the drag stip in my town n a few of us r going to go up there n race friday n i want to know what you guys think of my chances because im going to either win or loose money lol.
the cars are:
mine...car 1. 95 mustang v6,5speed, 1 or 2 small mods.
2. 94 mustang v6,automatic, new underdrive pulley.
3. 98 mustang v6, 5 speed, no mods n driver just turned 16(terrible)
4. some kind of mazda coop, 4cylinder, cold air intake



im fairly certain i can take them but i just want to be sure b4 i drop $ soo any opinions would be great.thanks

#2 won't compete really.


Without knowing what kind of Mazda i can't say hot it will do, but the race should be between you and the other 5-spd car....with the better driving winning.


Unless that Mazda is an RX-8 then you are both done. Even the most base model Mazda 3 has an engine with more HP than you all so he might take it all.

#3 could be a Miata, mx-6, or a mx-3. If that's the case, it should be a good race.

well the guy with the 94 automatic and the guy with the 98 5speed have already raced n the 94 won but like i said 98 has a bad driver

I say whoever gets the best 60' time is going to win which basically means the best driver. Is anyone running anything other then street tires?

no all cars are basicly stock reg.tires and the mazda is a mazda 3

One of the very few cars I beat in my crx was a 94 automatic v6.

I ran a 11.1 @ 64 and he went a 11.60 something . . .

If the 98 is slower . . . then it sounds like the mazda stands a good chance.
