I dunno if you guys have tried to buy a 93 cobra water pump pulley lately, but I got tired of waiting for them "to be in stock" and then when they are in stock they are way over priced! So i decided to make my own. First time making anything like this and it turned out really well! Thought I'd share some pics :)

Well, my car was runing hotter than normal with the new combo. The cobra pulley is a smaller diameter than stock lx/gt pulleys. So what you end up with is a fan and water pump that spins faster for better cooling. Working awesome now that the summer temps are nearing 100 degrees. Some people also use them with superchargers to gain more clearance for belts or brackets.

Yea, it's a hot item for blower guys, especially with deleted AC and relocated PS as the belt routing is a pain w/the tensioner lowered due to the supercharger bracket assembly

Plus as stated it's smaller and runs cooler.

Looks killer, man! Going to make a matching set for the rest? I certainly would if I had that skill/ability.

OK well in that case it is pretty cool, especially if you made it yourself. I honestly didn't know there were any differences. Are you sticking with the mechanical fan for stock purposes or? I could see using the pulley to speed up the water pump but why not just put an efan in it? You could always put it back to stock if you needed to.

FWIW, if you're running a mechanical fan with a fan clutch, the clutch will only allow the fan to spin so fast. You might get it to spin a wee bit faster at idle with a smaller water pump pulley, but above a certain RPM (2000?), it won't be any different. The biggest change with the smaller pulley would be the increased water flow rate.

Found this thread on a Google search, believe it or not. We 94-95 guys can use the 93 Cobra water pump pulley with no problems. According to Ford, the 94-95 Cobra actually uses the 93 Cobra water pump and crank pulleys. Count me in if you make a set!
