Mark VIII Motor

The 97-98 is a little better cause of the COP and some other small change that I forget but thats it, they are the same otherwise  At least with the 97+ you can get thoes cool ass Ford Racing blue valve covers :nice:

After some more research tonight, here is where I sit as of now:

Stock Mark VIII Block, Reworked
Ported / Polished Mark VIII Heads ("B" Heads)
Livernois Motorsports 298ci 4-Valve Roots/Turbo 18cc - 8.8:1 Compression Stroker Rotating Assembly
96-98 Cobra Cams
Kenne Bell 2.1L Supercharger Kit

Should safely get me into the 400+ RWHP range? Also need some recommendations on a decent engine stand. Also, I found this and if anyone has this DVD and could tell me if it is worth it to get, that would be great:

Sean Hyland Motorsport - 1996-04 Mustang Performance Parts - Directory

would i be able to use the wiring harness an computer from the mark viii
for the cop ign?my other concern is passing emmissions here in washington,
we just do an obd2 scan, but as far as i know the vin is also burned in the computer,
dont know if this will matter:shrug:

You are not supposed to use an earlier engine in a latter car by law
You can use the factory ECU to controll the 4V engine. Not really any extra sensors or controlls other than the IRMC but if I remember thats vacuume operated

Did some more research today, couple quick questions:

1) Is there anyplace recommended that I should send my 96-98 heads to be ported, or should I go local (MA / RI)?

2) Would I even have to worry about wiring up the IRMC because I'm going with the Kenne Bell?
