Flowtech longtubes and Bassani exhaust questions. If you either, come on in!

I have the BX bassani exhaust and its awesome. I have it with stock mid pipe and headers and it still sound very nice and is plenty loud for me. Its loud enough that it masks the t-trim when I put the hammer down.

Ive also had it for over a year and have no rust issues either. But mine is garaged in the winter so I wasnt worried about it when I bought mine.

ive gone through 2 flowtech x pipes. They dont fit for *****! They are fine and dandy at the headers but when it gets to the catback they are extremely close to the ground. Having a lowered car put that section about 1" off the ground (literally). I tried contacting Holley and flowtech with no luck. I had to spend $100 to have the exhaust modified to fit right. The headers are ok but the X pipes and the manufacturer are duds.

this was what i was afraid of :nonono:

anyone else had experience with the flowtech x pipe ? i think hooker makes a o/r x for longtubes fairly cheap. wonder if it might be better
