hey guys, trying to figure out which diameter wheels to go with for my prostreet 'stang. I came across this mustang with staggered sizes, but not the normal one or two inches larger in back. this car as 17" rims in the front and 15" in the rear!
let me know what you think.

take a look at the car, it's 15" rear, so i could get 28,29,30, whatever, the thing that is weird is that this car has two inch larger rims on the front! just want to know what people think.....

Form following function on the car pictured; for a street car it would be a horrible look in my opinion.

You can get away with it when you have a fully tubbed car with 15 inch WIDE tires in the rear and huge brakes in the front to hold it for burn out competitions....but for the average street driven car....pulling up with 15s on the back in 245 60 15 and 17 on the front 225 45 17 it would look silly.

was kind of thinking of 205-45-17 for front and 29-18.5-15 for the back....

Mickey Thompson has the wheels and tires for 20" on the rear. Our ProStreet Pickup someday will be sporting those. Ive seen a few of them at shows and it just looks really bitch'n IMO.

If your going to race though, not show then stick with the 15" diameter version.

Thats what I am running on my 65 coupe (17/18) I like the way it looks just wish the guy at the tire shop would of recomended smaller tires after seeing them on day after day and doing the shelby drop they are too tall.
