I bought a set of Tokico blue struts for my 00 mustang GT.. The instructions say they are only safe for vehicles lowered 1- 1.4 inches.. mine is lowered with sportlines..2 inch drop or so.
Should i purchase diffrent struts? or will these do for a while?

wait, the tokico blues they sell for sn95 are just regular fox struts? ..so much for there special piston design and what not lol. The part numbers for the fox and sn95 are diffrent on the site..but some how i wouldn't be surprised.

MY car is actually lowered about 2.3 in the front, since i have no isolators.
I'm just pissed since it says the warranty becomes void on a car lowered more than 1.3 and that it would possibly damage the strut on most cars if lowered more than 1.3

Also, is it alright to get diffrent shocks in the back? The place i bought it from is out of Tokico shocks, so i was considering AGX in the back..i figure i can set it to zero on track days and get better weight transfer too

how much noise did you experience by not having the isolators on your springs? i just lowered my stang and stared at the car up in the air on the lift for like 20 minutes while contemplating leaving the isolators on or off. i went with leaving them on.

I had a 90 LX i ran with lowering springs and drag raced with it. I also used it on the weekends to go cruisin. The only time i ever hear them creek is when i jacked it up... Other than that never made any noise. I spoke to Mike at Dez racing and he said it doesnt hurt to not put them back in.

take out your isos.. Imho, all mustangs with ISO installed have an ugly stance, no spring really gets the new edge LOW enough..imho
It doesn't creek period, the rear did, but i put tape on it and it never creaks either.
