The saga continues starting problem solved now runs like crapola
Thanks to all who have helped me with my starting problem. :SNSign:
And special thanks to HISSIN50. :nice:

The problem was one of the ground wires. I replaced all the battery posts and the neg cables and it started kind of.

Now the car will not run.

It starts but it's like it's flooding out and you have to keep it at almost full throttle to get it to run. It coughs and smokes and smells like fuel.

The car has sat for almost 2 months with the starting problem and the battery has been disconnected so many times. Did the computer lose its memory?
It will start but runs like crap and will not stay running without almost full throttle, smokes and misses.

I have tried to run my code scanner but it will not even pick up codes or run the scan complete.

Before my car first had its starting problem it was running perfect and I had no problems. All I did was drive home turn the car off and 1 hour later went to leave and nothing. Would not start! Replaced the starter, starter relay and all the cables and it starts but runs like crap.

What now? :shrug::shrug::shrug::shrug::shrug:

Before it went down, was there anything unusual going on with the car?

Does it miss?

Any chance the timing walked?
SPOUT connector installed?

Your symptoms are not totally unlike varnished injectors, but your car did not sit long enough to have that happen. And if it did, it would have improved after a couple of heat cycles.

I would try to retrieve KOEO codes to see if something will give you a hint where to look.

I did not have any problems with the car before this started with the starting problem and now this issue.

My starting problems were with the ground from the battery to the ground to the block. I just added another ground wire between the battery and the block and replaced the battery posts. There are no replacement for the cables at the dealers.

Could it be the PCM ground and where is it?

Woah slow down your PCM ground is not a problem here .. If the car was running and has been having starting problems dont look at the PCM and point fingers so quickly. First off .. Take all your plugs out and clean them with a wire brush. I am positive they are going to be black. Second If you have adjusted or touched your distributor at all your going to need to run thru some trouble shooting steps to make sure you are in range 10-12* BTDC on the compression stroke. If you have not touched the distributor at all then do not touch that. Clean your plugs and try to fire it up and then report back with what has happend from their. :)

My problem started when I drove home (the car was running perfect no problems whats so ever) turned off the car went in took a shower and went to go to work and it would not start it just clicked. I have not touched anything sense the car would not start except to replace the battery, starter, starter relay, battery terminals and adding another ground wire from the battery to the block.

I have not touched anything else. Did not touch the distributor.

I pulled all the plugs and they looked great just a light brown, not wet, sootie or black they looked normal. I had just replace them 500 miles ago but to elimitate any problems I just bought new ones and put them in.

When I tried to run the code scanner this is what happened:

Plugged it in and turned key on. Turned on code reader and the three zeros showed up. Pressed Test/hold button for test mode. The triangle icon appears showing the reader is linked to the vehicle's computer and is in test mode.
The square icon appears and then nothing happens.

After the square icon appears it is suppose to run a self test but it does nothing just sits there for hours doing nothing.

So tried new plugs and tried to retrieve KOEO codes.
Nothing.
