I need pics please!! I can't seem to find a way to get my dipstick mounted with my longtubes there so its just hanging there and I'm afraid it's just going to fall out. On a side note... does anyone make a different design for our car, the s-bend never made sense to me.

I run Mac LT's but the outcome is gonna be the same :D

You just look at things to see the big picture :nice:

Then position the tube to where it clears everything

Then see what is needed to mount the tube securely

With my Mac LT's

I had to bend the OEM tube just a small amount

The mounting tab was 1.5 inches away from the header bolt hole

I went to the hardware store and found a small section of thick
pipe and a bolt of sufficient length to make it all good to go ;)

Basic Hot Rodding 101 .........
Just do what ever it takes to make things happen

Maybe that can give you an idea or two

Mr Wes used a flexible Lokar stick for awhile (I think he changed to a different set of LT's and maybe did not need it anymore - I cant remember). Anyhow, it looked like a nice piece to me. My stick is jacked up so I considered it.

I ended up with the Lokar flexible unit from Summit. Pretty snug with jethot coated 1 3/4 MAC headers but it does fit. Has an o-ring to keep the stick in the tube as well so that works out in my favor with crankcase pressure on this old motor. :)
