i know what u mean...i think i might just buy the secondary side and see how i like it... i have mine running pretty rich, but im too lazy to try to jet it down and play with it. just a pain in the ass...

i've looked around on other forums and havent found really anything bad about them. the only thing that seems common is: they leak under boost. which i dont have a supercharger so im good.. :nice:

I am sure this idea has been around for a while, just wondering why holley hasn't come out with a carb with that feature.

because holley makes a ton of money selling jets and other tuning items for their carbs.

as for the percys adjust a jet, they are an interesting idea, and have been around since the mid 70's in one form or another. some even use the jets that come in the carb, and you adjust the fuel flow through those jets, so you can jet rich for the track, and then adjust down for the street when ever you want.

I have two sets of the adjust-a-jets from Holley laying around. Basically the same thing as the Percy's set.
My problem is they lengthen the carb fuel inlets requiring a custom fuel intake line and reduced my ability to run a low profile air cleaner. Add to that, you never "really" know what your jetting is and I decided to take them off my carb(s).

Now I use the quick-change fuel bowls. Been very happy with them and haven't looked back since.
