New parts for the new Fox..

Hey all,

It has been about two months since I picked up my 408W 88mm project car and I finally started spending some money on it. Anyhow what I've added so far is:

Head unit out of my Evo with a custom delete plate underneath and mounted without a trim bezel which would require me to drill holes.

Smoked headlights and foglights. I also have the smoked tails and 3rd brake light but I need to get red bulbs before I throw them on

Corbeau CR1's in microsuede and leather.

I like the smoked lights in front- but I'd just do some simple LX tails out back. Then give it a sick stance and wheels for a look to match the power.

Man - I just love that car. I'm definately torn on you modding it though. I know - it's yours so you can do anything you want to it, but it's such a clean low mileage Stang - I'm trying to clean up my higher mileage Stang to look half as good as your car before you started modding it.

It isn't yet, but I will be in touch with Ricky soon to start the dart 408 build.. Im going with 10th anniv. cobras for the wheels. I already spent $180 on the smoked lenses so I might as well use them..

Thanks for the compliments.. Next up is the new carpet, window tint, and 10pt chromoly cage. I think I may have the rear seats re-covered in the black suede in the same pattern as the fronts.. Ideas on that?

Boy, for a second I thought it already was a 408 turbo car rolling on stock ponies. That would be sick as hell. Give it a good stance, but if you are able to rock the ponies, I would. Im one more of the subtle type though...

Not yet, i'm going 5 lug on 33 spline strange axles so I won't be able to re-use the pony's, plus the 16's won't clear the Baer brakes going on it.

I'd find a 4 banger and swap it..

Its a car tear it apart and rebuild it. A clean car is the best starting point.

That was my reasoning too, you don't have to undo other people's mess, just create your own!
