I want to see pics of 15s on a new edge.

I have been toying around with putting on 15x8s on the front and 15x10s on the rear. would be running street tires( 245/60 front and 295/50s out back) But I cant find one pic anywhere of a combo close to that. If any wants to know why I want to do this its because I am sick of the short tires tracking all over the road. If anyone finds a pic or has a setup like this I would like to see.

I mean that with these short tires( 45 series ) it follows every rut in the road. The car has just had a alignment so it must be those short tires not being very forgiving of the ruts in the road.

Thanks SaleenGT2001 for the pics. That looks good.

What kind of tires are you running? Try a less aggressive tread:shrug: Mine do the same but its because i run Kumho Ecsta MX's.

get a different tire. No need to run a 15x8 in the front. It's pointless.

I've run 15x3.5 prostars, and 15X4 telstars in the front, for saving weight, not for tracking, though the narrow tire does track way less. Plus, the wheels are aluminum and CAN bend if you are not careful.

Are you going for a drag wheel/tire look on the car?

here is a google search, Bill's car is on the second page, as well as a few other cars.

I am thinking of getting the greg weld star wheels. I have Toyo proxes 4 tires, if anyone knows them. they suck in the rain and track bad but they are worn out. I think I will run down to Americas tire and get a new set of tires for the 17s and see if I like them. If not they will be taking them back and I will be ordering 15s. I do like the drag look being im old school. Not going to be racing this car because we are building a drag car. Thanks for the google search I havent done that search.

That has to do with tire width more than height. It also depends heavily on the tire brand.

245's will track depending on the brand...wether on a 17" wheel or a 15" wheel.

When i had my 5.0 with 15's on it and 245's...it tracked too.

Try a less aggressive tread or a narrower tire

I just went from 245 bridgestones that tracked to 245 yokahamas that do not track at all on my OEM bullitts...it rides nice now
