possible new cam set up need some help

basics the motor:

351w vic jr heads/intake 9.7cr holley 750 hp carb
bbk long tube headers.

the cam right now is a motorsports z cam with harland sharp 1.7s for the vic jr heads.

with those rockers it specs 228/228 and .584/.584

the other cam im lookin at with those rockers would be 242/248 .600/.630

the car has two stages of nitrous 75 on the first and 200 on the second.


The heads have been ported and matched to the intake.



appreciate any input, thoughts or concerns


p.s. with talkin to the machine shop the pistons have been clearanced enough for a 260/260 duration cam so ptv clearance isnt a worry

Street car cam needs 110*LSA. Race car needs 106*LSA. (carb application only)

the z cam is 112 and the second one is on a 110

Try one of the Comp Nitrous HP cams, they are very good pieces. They feature a 114 which will work well with both the auto and the NOS. The stage 3 HP might be right up your alley.
