clicking from rear

When i take off from a dead stop or when im not on the gas moviing and i hit the gas not hard but not really really soft i hear this loud CLICK i also hear it when i have the car in gear (not running) if i lay down near the rear and push the car forward and back i hear it sounds liek tis comin from the rear end but i cant figure it out all teh mroe skilled techs i know all say sounds liek a U joint but both feel fine i did replace the one in the front when i got the car anyone have ideas?

could be worn upper control arm bushings .

Check your u joints on your drive shaft. theres a good chance the rear one is worn out. it might not feel loose but drop the drive shaft and give it a look.

a clicking sound would usually mean it's coming from the rear.. i've never hear of a u joint making a clicking sound.. you could have dirt in there or have broken a tooth and the metal is jumping around on top of the gears.. to figure it out, jack the car up, drop the drive shaft and spin the tires and see if you have a clicking sound.. if so, you are gonna have to take apart the rear and see if it's the gears or the posi unit.. but while your in there you might as well change out the gears
