I currently have an AOD in my 66 coupe, i have another parts car (66 with inline 6 and 3 speed manual). Beside the clutch pedal what else would have to swap the AOD for a T-5. I like my AOD but i would like to go with a EFI 5.0 block and a T-5.... in the future....

I had a 3 speed in my 66 and when I changed over to T-5 ,what I had to change was the drive shaft, transmission mount and crossmember and I went with a cable for the clutch.
All theses parts I got at "mustangsteve.com" and I'm not sure but are there cooling lines from the radiator to your AOD? not a big deal to seal the holes at the radiator.
If you sell your AOD let me know. Good luck.

Will i have to shorten my drive shaft any more than i have with the AOD? everything else should be pretty much a straight shot except the clutch pedal and cable.... right?

I just listed most of what you need in the classifieds on here. I bought the stuff new form Modern driveline, and later decided to go with a G-force T-5. I was going to use it on my 67 but all the parts I have for sale will work with your 66.
